This policy explains what information GigTaxTally (“we”, “us”) collects when you use gigtaxtally.com/, how we use it, and the choices you have.
The numbers you enter in our calculators
Our calculators run entirely in your browser. The earnings, tips, miles and other figures you type are not sent to us or stored by us.
Information we collect
- Email address. Only if you sign up for deadline reminders. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Contact messages. If you email us, we keep your message and email address to reply.
- Page feedback. If you click “Was this page helpful?”, we store an anonymous yes or no count for that page. We don’t store who clicked.
- Usage data. Analytics tools (Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager) collect pages visited, device type, browser, approximate location and how you arrived.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We and our partners use them to keep the site working, measure traffic and show ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads.

Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including California and other US states, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to ask us to delete it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. Email hello@gigtaxtally.com. We respond within 45 days.
Children’s privacy
GigTaxTally is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above.
